The 21st century is a time of informationalization. As an important part and norm of the educational reform in the new century, the informationalization of education is being adopted by all the nations in terms of educational reform across the world. China's educational informationalization has already been started up.Currently, those educational institutions with conditions have started to commonly use multimedia facilities. The multimedia technology can unite word, figure, photo, audio, video and cartoon together, which will support and activate the educational activity with innovative environment and devices. Chinese Language and Literature (hereafter as Chinese) is a comprehensive subject with strong cultural background and a long history. The modern multimedia devices must bring deep and wide influence on the education of Chinese. To make the best the use of the advantage of multimedia technology, we should first make a practical analysis about the current situation of the adoption of multimedia technology for Chinese teaching, then try to find the problems we are meeting with, finally lead to a solution. On the basis of this concept, the writer tries to use his own teaching experiences and relevant literature/documents to discuss about researching background, basic theory, operational effects and current situation analysis. The conclusion is as follows, to change concept fundamentally, promote the level of using the basic theory of multimedia technology, and stick to educational, scientific, efficient and artistic feature, is the only way to improve and reform Chinese education. Meanwhile, we should adopt correct measures to realize the above-mentioned concept finally.
