With the deepening of education reformation, the problem of development of school-based curriculum is becoming a hot subject in reformation of current basic education curriculum in China. School-based curriculum developing is a kind of mode of curriculum developing, which is corresponding to the national curriculum development. The key is combine activities of curriculum developing with idiographic school condition, and which made it more suitable to the reality of teaching, and meeting various demands of different students. Therefore research and practice of school-based curriculum is important supplement of national curriculum developing.However, the high school curriculum reformation is always the keystone and difficulty in that of China. The reformation plays a very important and responsible role in the society. In the contrast, traditional curriculum is more recognition than the development of school-based curriculum, the rather that biology is always thought of subordinate course, which is the edge of development.Some educationalists have researched on the theory of development of school-based curriculum these years, and already get some achievement. But because of the complexity and reality of biology course developing in high school, many biological teachers are still facing large challenges, so they need make further exploration based on the achievement of the researches.This article is written to share the primary experiment of the biological school-based curriculum developing and practice in high school, which is based on the high school biology education and combining the experience of the author's teaching.At first, theory and meaning of school-based developing is expounded, and its connotation and characters is defined. The current process of research of school-basedcurriculum is explained in three stages—in the world, in China and in Shanghai whichis emphasized.Be the main part of the article, the development, practice and evaluation of biological school-based in the school author worked at is explained. In the stage of design, author has made SWOT analysis and questionnaire investigation from 467 students who are all Grade 2004 based on the demands of the research. And author has realized the actuality of education of the school, demands of research of teachers, needs of growing of students and character of biology. Based on these achievements, author divided the purpose of school-based development into three levels, which are facing all the students, facing lovers of biology and facing the students who have the academic pursuing. Every level has its own aim of teaching, which has formed elementary teaching system of high school biological school-based curriculum.
