With the success of China's bid of the Olympic Games and entry into WTO ,China has contacted with the other countries more widely. The world economy integration brings the integration of culture and speeds up the collision and integration between the eastern culture and western culture. And it affects people's living environment and their concepts and causes the change of folk culture. Many young people are dull to our traditional festivals. Instead they show great interest in some western festivals , such as Valentine's Day ,Christmas Day and so on. What's more, some old folk customs in some local places are disappearing or has disappeared. Thus, under the new history term, it's extremely urgent to inherit and develop the excellent and traditional culture of our country and improve people's consciousness of the folk customs. To this ,in " Several opinions about strengthening the teaching material construction during compulsory education" ,the Beijing leader of our country says we must mix the tradition of 5,000 year's cultural education with teaching materials and make our students cultivated. They emphasize that some traditional things such as firecrackers in the Spring Festival, glutinous rice dumplings during Dragon-Boat Festival, and the harvest moon in Mid-autumn Festival should be learned by our students in the teaching materials.In the tide of the world economy integration, it's an effective teaching method to permeate the folk education in courses in order to conserve our traditional culture and educate and increase folk consciousness in students.
