The individualized composition teaching is one of the topic of general interest both Chinese educational theory and practice. It is the production of the program on society and the reform of education. It is a new thought under the guidance of the new Chinese Course Standards of Full-time Compulsory Education. On the basis of research on individualized educational and composition teaching, this thesis attempts on the exploring from theory and practice.The thesis mainly covers four parts:I. The contain of the individualized composition teaching. The individualized composition teaching is a kind of composition teaching style to promote the harmonious development of the students' individuality by their active composition on the basis of the educational thought of humanism, combined with the modern composition.The individualized composition teaching is a kind of composition teaching thought. It regards the training of the individualized person as its highest goal, and looks on human beings as its start and destination, which reflects the ultimately care for humans. It makes the development of mankind as its center and faces the students' composition in an open attitude, and seeks for innovation. It not only teaches but also educates humans, which is the combination of the composition teaching with the behavior education. The individualized composition teaching is also a kind of teaching practice. Its purpose is to form a new composition teaching thought making the humans' development as the center, and to blaze a new field of vision of composition teaching. It looks on composition as the individuality reflection of humans' behavior, a kind of need of surviving and living exercise. It opens the practice ways of composition teaching, and widens the composition time and place. It completely changes the composition thought that thought is the first and theme is the first, and encourages students to composite really and freely and to write out real ourselves and portray the perfect characters.The characteristics of the individualized composition teaching are subjectivity and opening and Creativity. Subjectivity is the fundamental characteristic of the individualized composition teaching. It regards students as humans and gives the initiative of the individuality development and even the whole qualities 'improvement to the students. The individualized composition teaching is a kind of opening teaching system. It have opening guiding ideology, teaching progress and comments .It encourages different criteria, and height, greatness and entirety, and truth, kindness and beauty is no longer the only criterion of a good composition. The individualized composition teaching encourages students to show their individuality. It pays attention to the individual experience and encourages students to express individual and creative feelings.The basic theory of the individualized composition teaching contain theeducational thought of humanism the general development theory and moderncomposition theory. The educational thought of humanism has helped us to recognize the value of the composition teaching. It has helped us to establish the students' status as the subjectivity. The general development theory has offered the direct theoretical support to the individualized composition teaching. We should guide the students to start from themselves, express their feelings as much as they want, tell their own experiences, describe their deep mind and experience by narrating, description or discussion.II. The principles of the individualized composition teaching. The principles of the individualized composition teaching contain three main principles. The principle of entirety and individuality means the individualized composition teaching should be open to all the students, and promote the foil development of students. The teachers should teach students according to the characteristics of students, and take teaching measures in accordance with the students' individuality to develop the students' individuality ability.
