In the Chinese language teaching, writing is the richest activity of a creative thinking and the product with individuality characteristics, which is a tool to communicate between man and nature, man and society, man and others. It reflects peoples' thought towards the world, the exploration of nature, and their insights on life. The essays with personal characteristics are required to have a unique experience, and insights, real emotions, and flexible approach, freedom of expression. Individualized composition teaching requires that we teachers should respect the needs of students and life on the basis of the law of growth to stimulate students' interest in writing, guiding students to express true and free feelings.In the new century, with the development of educational reform, individualized education has developed quickly. The concept of individualized writing instruction has also been put into practice. Based on the latest research and the New Curriculum, this article attempts to explore individualized composition teaching. Besides the Introduction and Conclusion, this article includes three parts:The first part is a brief introduction of individualized composition teaching, including the principal of the personality, individuality, individualized essays, individualized writing and teaching concepts. Also, it has a brief analysis of the characteristics of individual essays and individuality goals and principles of composition teaching, as well as the relationship between them. This part mainly deals with the problem what is a individualized composition teaching.The second part explores the theory of individualized composition teaching from the theoretical and practical basis. The theoretical foundations have three bases, including humanistic psychology, individualized theories of teaching and writing theory. It also gives a brief description of the current status of teaching writing and composition and causes, and the new course requirements, as well as the research about overseas teaching writing. This part mainly deals with the reasons why we should carry out individualized composition teaching.The third part, as the most important part of this article, is a practice of individualized composition teaching to explore the methods carried out in practice. It mainly analyses from the qualities that the teachers should have and how to promote the students' qualities. As for teachers, there are five aspects to describe, including the reform of exams, the stimulation of students' interest, the usage of the Internet, the quality of encourage and tolerance, and the formation of individuality and teaching style, etc. As for students, there are also five aspects to describe, including good observation, more book-reading, well-thinking, self-describing and creativity. And it provides a variety of cases of individualized teaching, where it displays the process of individualized composition teaching, hoping to have a better description of the problem. This part mainly deals with the major solution to carry out the implementation of individualized writing teaching.
