Smoking is regarded as the main cause of illness and death that can be prevented. Removing the harm of smoking has been a worldwide tendency and become a historical trend. The adolescent students are the future builders of our country, and their heath is connected to our country's future. At present, the rate of Chinese student smokers in primary and middle schools is increasing, and their age has been getting younger and younger. Therefore, it is vital to find out an efficient way of popularizing anti-smoking education among primary and middle school students and help them to avoid becoming new smokers. Based on the analysis of the students' psychological characters and smoking psychology, This paper proposed the 4-step ways of anti-smoking, and I sampled students from 6 classes at random and carried out the practice of anti-smoking education. The 4-step ways are as the follows: First, I gave lectures--introducing theharm to themselves, other people and society of inhaling fumes directly and indirectly. Second, in order to strongly impress the students about the harm of smoking, I helped them to determine the poisonous ingredients of the fume in the chemistry lab and get them to see with their own eyes the death of the white mice. Third, I intensified their understanding of the harm of smoking by means of "discussion and communication." Finally, I helped them to pluck up their courage and obtain skills of rejecting cigarettes. The 4-step educative way of anti-smoking proves, through practice, to conform to psychological characteristics of middle school students. Most of them are willing to accept the results, and the educative effect proves to be fairly good.To sum up, it needs all the society to make efforts to popularize anti-smoking education.
