Research On The Effective Advising Strategies Of Network Based Collaborative Teaching And Research Activities Between Urban And Rural Schools

New curriculum reform appeals for conversion of the role of teachers and demands them to be researchers in instruction. However, at present the teaching and research activities are restricted in a school. Teachers rarely communicate with persons of the same occupation in other schools, which not only leads to the high quality instruction resources can not be shared fully, but also the instructional problems within school can not be solved effectively. In other words, the research community has not formed. It goes against the development of teachers'professional ability. So the collaborative teaching and research activities based on internet between schools are needed urgently.This paper as one research result of an informatization educational project, is aimed to explore the effective strategies for supporting the collaborative teaching and research activities between Urban and rural schools. I have designed the model for the collaborative teaching and research activities in a net work environment and given six advising strategies after the deference between schools have been analyzed. At the same time, I have tested and verified the validity of my advising strategies by analyze the content of BBS. Also I have improved my advising strategies when put them into practice.This study is a design based research. I investigate the teachers'requirement and find out the difficulties of collaborative teaching and research activities between schools by interview and questionnaire. Based on this, a set of interventions have been designed. The study shows that part of the strategies encourage teachers to participate. So they not only improve teachers'teaching and research capability, but also accelerate their knowledge building. Meanwhile, I adjust my research plan and test again to improve the advising strategies. Finally, a set of strategies for supporting the collaborative teaching and research activities between schools or regions are formed.
