| With the popularization of computer and network, how to effectively use network resources to start teaching to develop curriculum resources; change the evaluation methods; and promote the development of students is a problem for a number of geography teachers. WebQuest is a web-based teaching for inquiry learning. The main method is students finish the learning task by themselves in the network environment with the help of teacher.This study is the integration of WebQuest teaching in high school geography teaching. Taking"Population Problems and Population Policy"for example, the study try to discuss the teacher how to make a teaching plan; what difficulties encountered in the process of teaching and solution strategies; and the students'opinions to WebQuest and learning effectiveness after the completion of the WebQuest The study object is first-year students in a high school, and the study take live recordings, interviews and the research data as the materials of analysis.The results showed:First, WebQuest into geography teaching depends very much on the success of instructional design, Bernie. Dodges WebQuest design process helps teachers to plan and design, in which choosing the theme is the most critical.Second, how to make a teaching web page is a difficulty for teacher in the design process, which needs professional help.Third, the factors in the smooth implementation of WebQuest: teaching content can lead to student interest in learning, students'self-control, role allocation and the number of a team and seating arrangement.Fourth, most students hold a positive view to WebQuest, which promote the development of students in various capacities. Most of the students agree that they can learn more knowledge of geography in this teaching model.Fifth, WebQuest teaching can promote student collaborative learning.Finally, the researchers propose suggestions in the teaching of teacher; learning environment and the instructional design and proposed further research prospects.
