A Research Of The Daily Living Community Care For The Senior Citizen

Along with the development of the economy and society,China has been becoming an aging-country fleetly during recent years,in which Yichang is one of the most serious citise.In this context,how to take care of the elderly is becoming increasingly prominent.On the one hand, there are more and more old people who need to take care of;On the other hand,the family and government can hardly provide services for its miniaturizing tendency and limited resources.the care of elderly becomes a difficult problem.In this objective reality,community services was raised as a new method.For one thing,community services have advantage in reducing the pressure of family members;for another,jt can overcome the disadvantages of institution's services.Due to these reasons,community service model for the elderly has been widely advocated since it was be proposed.This paper reviews the theory of community care for the elderly firstly. Secondly, base on the questionnaire survey of the old people's daily life and community care status in Yichang area.I collected the data of community care of Yichang city.Then through the further analysis of the results, this paper analyzes needs of different old people and present condition of community service in Yichang.On the basis of results of sample survey of city elderly in Yichang, this paper summarizes the basic health condition of elderly people,it also summarizes the situation of community care demand and the condition of utilization, and some restrictive factors of community care services' development has been raised.Finally, aiming at the existing problems, this paper puts forward Suggestions to improve elderly community care system from four aspects.
