In recent years, Urban Poor Families as a vulnerable group has drawn increasing attention, to prevent intergenerational transmission of poverty is becoming China's new anti-poverty initiatives. The youth people in Urban Poor Families lack of the opportunities and rights, which cause them not have access to comprehensive development, particularly in the level of education, there is a potentially bad sign of the Intergenerational Transmission of Poverty (ITP).This study used qualitative research methods, the author took 7 families for example which in ZGC and GJK streets, that in Haidian District of Beijing. The study found that the families'economic status, parent's educational level, concepts, methods, expectations, and many other factors have deeply influenced the current educational situation of the youth. The combined effects of these factors, which resulted in blocking the educational opportunities for young people in the Poor Families, the main contents include lacking of or inadequate in school education, family education and quality education. Mainly young people of the Poor Families lack of school choice opportunities and parents tutoring, receive traditional education and parental expectations in the family, lack of interest training opportunities; In addition, the poor status of the family impact the future of the youth employment and marital.In order to break the vicious circle of ITP, the author put forward research proposals from the macro, meso and micro (national, regional, personal and family) levels. The macro level conducted by social workers involved in advocating the national policies, which to eliminate educational inequality and educational level system, mainly referring to expansion of compulsory education, increase the education grant to youth of Poor Families, improve student loan ratio in youth higher education, support the development of the vocational colleges;? Meso-level intervention by social workers to integrate various resources available to create multiple mutual support network, the main means to seek resources to provide academic counseling and interest training, the establishment of parents'schools and create community support networks; Micro-level social workers involved in providing psychological support and psychological counseling, establishing a good family interactive mechanism , to promote overall development of the youth individual and the family.
