With the development of society, the advancement of science and technology, and the rapid development of life, the poor families in China's cities are facing increasingly complicated living pressures. This study takes 19 households in the H district of Beijing as the research object, and uses the perspective of context theory to study the stress response mechanism formed by urban poor families in China in the face of their educational pressure and employment pressure. The study uses qualitative research methods to collect and analyze research data through in-depth interviews with adolescents in poor households. The study found that when the urban poor families in China respond to their children's educational pressure and employment pressure, the young people in the family are the axis of stress response.Context in family can help young people cope well with stress, which includes the structural context of frequent interaction among members of the family, the clear mental context of stress and the specific philosophy of coping with expectations. The structural context of frequent member interaction is beneficial to the formation of a clear psychological context of stress and a specific philosophical context of response to expectations.Adolescents can also acquire certain educational and employment resources from external impulses by actively constructing interactions with external historical context and economic context. On this basis, social workers can intervene in urban poor families from the following three aspects.First of all, social workers can help poor families to form good internal context and help young people cope with stress.Secondly, social workers can promote the structural context of family members' frequent interactions, and promote the family to form a clear psychological context of stress and coping with the specific philosophical context of expectations. Finally, social workers can help young people link external educational resources and employment resources, and enhance their ability to face educational pressures and employment pressures.
