Study On Anticipated Conventionality Function Of Translator's Style--From The Perspective Of Pre-store Image Theory

This thesis probes into styles of translators from the view of psychology with the theory of pre-store image in aesthetics study to unveil the anticipated function of microcosmic pre-store image and of Macroscopic pre-store image on the formation of translators'styles. The study from the microcosmic pre-store image includes:the mother-tongue pre-store image constraints the art of composition, syntax and diction when the transtator uses the language; the aesthetic pre-store image constraints the language-structure level, art-image level, history-related humanities level and philosophical significance level for the translator's aesthetic about the literature; the ideology pre-store image constraints the translation purpose, translation strategy and translation method. While the macroscopic pre-store image includes:national culture, era culture, individual culture which show an orderly hierarchy and a cascaded nature. Leveling from upper stage to lower stage, the influence of different "fields" on translators'style is gradually diminishing. These hierarchies actually constitute a cascaded mode of pre-store image "field" that has an effect on formation of translators'style. Through the above study, the author hopes to help improve the translator's style; to enlighten the translator choosing suitable originals in order to improve the quality of the version.
