With the development of the progress of the society and economy, business cultureprosperity once again. Standing in the current social informationization, visualization,art, from the perspective of nationalization, commercial store brand image is animportant window of the city’s image, but also constitute an important part of the cityspace environment. China’s commercial store brand image from the original physicalsymbol of the kind of "cover", development to the present diversified materials andhigh-tech lighting for the integration of urban commercial advertising media, its role isnot only the pursuit of beautiful in appearance, and beautify the city space and improveurban quality important carrier, is more attention to it for the impact of urban visualenvironment.Modern business store signs for the purpose of design is to study how to spreadcommercial information, comprehensive strong popular discipline, it takes theprinciples include: features prominent, the identification principle; Outstanding visualeffects, lead consumer interest principle; Accommodation, guide consumption habitsprinciples; Commensurate with surrounding environment color consistent principle, etc.With the development of urban commercial environment, modern commercialstore signs design is moving into the trend of diversified development, it in the designstyle, symbols, fonts, graphics, colors, materials technology and Settings beyond thetraditional boundaries, presents the development trend of diversification. As a specialtype of visual culture symbol, commercial store signs design is like a mirror, reflectingthe people’s spiritual life and material life, but also reflects the level of contemporaryscience and technology, people’s idea of the ideological and aesthetic temperament andinterest, etc. In today’s diverse business environment, the importance of the role of alsomore and more obvious, for example, reflect city beautiful environment atmosphere,improve the urban visibility and show the features of urban areas, and so on.In this paper, first of all, starting from the origin and developing process ofcommercial store signs, and combining with the application of the local businessstorefront signs in wuhan city situation analysis, through the questionnaire survey,on-the-spot investigation, Paper focuses on the application status quo of wuhancommercial store signs and its various effects existed in the urban style and features,influence people’s life idea and the design behavior, and behavior problems such as theinduction and summary of the system. Finally according to the planning of urbancommercial store signs puts forward the idea problem, discuss the trend of developmentin the future, to the design of commercial store signs and designers and social sense ofresponsibility to the environment problems are summarized.
