Yueshibian is a note of historical data which records the historical facts since the last phase of Ming Dynasty to the initial stage of Qing Dynasty. And it refers to aspects of economy, politics, culture,education, custom,etc. Ye meng zhu records the persons and things of that time with his particular angel view and depiction style which differs to official history. Among the book, a majority of contents have unique value of historical data and can complement insufficiencies of historical data. Through elementarily researching literature of education and imperial examinations in Yueshibian , I set about to study the variance of education and imperial examinations system in the last phase of Ming Dynasty to the initial stage of Qing Dynasty and explore the philology value of Yueshibian.
