A Study On The Film Adamption Of Zhang Ailing's Novels

Although films and literature are two different kinds of media, and two sorts of arts as well, they are combined together skillfully by the tie of flim adaptation. This article attempts to analyze the movies which are adapted from Zhang Ailing's novels under various historical background, to look for the change of the theme between the novels and the films, the identification of the characters, the addition and deletion of the plots, the change of narrative angle, and the effect of the particular style of the directors, etc. They are not merely due to the development of the films themselves, or the personal experience of the directors. They will fall into the tide of history and bear a strong mark of the trend of social culture unavoidably.This paper includes three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.The first part is the introduction.
