Zhang Ailing,a female writer with wide dissemination and high influence in the field of literature and culture,has attracted wide attention and comment from domestic and foreign literature researchers for her extraordinary family and legendary growth experience,unique “ desolate ” creative style,artistic skills of multiple images superposition,strong and conscious stylistic awareness of “ gossip style ”,profound and meticulous human insight and profound description.Since Eileen Chang ’ s research has entered the new century,its research methods are more scientific,research perspectives are more diverse,and research horizons are more open.This paper is based on the topic of ’ A review of Eileen Chang ’ s research in the twenty years of the new century ’,aiming to sort out the results of previous studies,in order to have a deeper understanding of Eileen Chang ’ s research in the new century.This paper is divided into the following three chapters :Chapter one : The study of Zhang Ailing from the perspective of multiple theories.This paper mainly extracts several important topics in Eileen Chang ’ s research,including Eileen Chang ’ s feminist research,psychological analysis research,end consciousness / desolation research.From the discussion of these topics,it can be found that Eileen Chang ’ s research continues to develop and extend from multiple perspectives and directions on the basis of inheriting previous achievements,showing more diverse Eileen Chang ’ s research in the collision and integration of Chinese and foreign ideology and culture.Chapter 2 : Zhang Ailing ’ s research from a comparative perspective.Including Zhang Ailing and Lu Xun,Lao She,Shen Congwen and other male writers comparative study;a comparative study of Zhang Ailing and Su Qing,Wang Anyi and other female writers;a comparative study of Zhang Ailing and foreign writers such as Maugham,Lawrence and Bernard Shaw.In comparison,it can be more comprehensive and in-depth development of research perspectives,such as urban consciousness,urban writing,female shaping,human nature,etc.,but also involves the mainstream discourse narration and marginal discourse narration,the evaluation criteria of writers in the transition period,so that the study of Zhang Ailing is more abundant.Chapter 3 : Other issues in Zhang Ailing ’ s research.From the translation studies,biographical and historical research,’ Zhang Ailing ’ in-depth discussion of three dimensions.It focuses on the analysis of the reasons for the rise of " Zhang Ailing ’ s enthusiasm " and the current enlightenment to us.Under the context of consumer culture,Zhang Ailing is constantly interpreted and reconstructed,and restoring the real and objective image of Zhang Ailing is an important development direction of future research on Zhang Ailing.Because Eileen Chang ’ s writing style is more extensive,novels,essays,film scripts and many other creations,so this paper does not list a separate chapter to study and analyze works,but use the classification of problem consciousness to integrate works into each chapter.By combing the research of Eileen Chang since the new century,we can find the importance and complexity of Eileen Chang ’ s research in modern and contemporary literature.The researchers are more mature in theoretical application,more profound in ideological dimension,and more rigorous in historical data exploration.At the same time,there are still some problems and shortcomings in the study of Zhang Ailing in the new century,which need to be constantly reflected and discussed in order to make the study of Zhang Ailing move towards a higher stage of development.
