| Folk culture is conventional custom, etiquette and living habit of a certain nation which has always restrict one's life style. The paper's thesis is "The Interest Teaching of Folk Culture in TCSL", and it includes four chapters.Language and folk culture interact with each other. Folk culture is the important meaning of the necessary content of TCSL. First, some folk culture phenomena represent on Chinese. Second, folk culture could help the learner avoid misunderstanding or pragmatic errors and overcome the obstacles which may occur in the intercultural communication. The third, Chinese language teachers should grasp certain folk culture knowledge.Learner-centered teaching mathod request teacher know well about the interest of students. How to keep student's motivation and how to inspire student's interest is the most important teaching task. What is taught must be determined by students' needs and must enable them to learn creatively, gradually strengthening their motivation and sense of achievement. Teaching materials should also pay attention to the student's interest.On the practice of Chinese teaching, the author found that forengers are interested in folk culture, so an investigation for "Chinese Folk Culture Survey for Foreigners" made by the author shows that folk culture could be complement of language structure teaching.The Conclusion is that phonetic, vocabulary, Chinese characters and semantic, pragmatic in TCSL classroom have their connection with Chinese folk culture. To choose folk culture content and to be in harmony of in-class and out-class, linking up folk culture and language structure together is a good way to teach.In TCSL, we must attach importance to the application of folk culture research to language teaching and studying and produce new academic results continuously. Moreover, it should make language teaching and studying the broad bridge in the inercultural commnication. |
