| Su Shi is a great master of literature in Song Dynasty who was very important in the history of literature of China. He was good at Poem and Ci, especially the latter was the most outstanding in Bei Song Dynasty. He used a great number of literary quotation which would be the main topic of this thesis with the study of the quotations about the Celestial and Tao and the study of the quotation conditions, art features and the significance of history of Ci, in order to reproduce the literature phenomenon and attract enough attention.The first task of the study quotation should be tracing backward through which we can have a fundamental acknowledgement of the inner and outer boundaries of the Celestial and Taoism and the connections of them. Only after the study of this can we make a deeper study.We can see that Su Shi adored the Celestial and Taoism very much while Song Dynasty admires Taoism, too. Just because of the admiration of Tao of society and Su himself, Su used a lot of quotations in his Ci expressing his thoughts of Tao. On the occasion of acceptance of Tao, Su showed traces of Tao in his writing of Ci and used pretty more quotations of Celestial and Taoism filling his Ci with mysterious and celestial atmosphere. Perfect usage of quotations of Chuang Zi appears in lots of Ci of Su Shi. He admired Chuang Zi very much for he quoted Chuang Zi over 30 times, mostly Chuang Zi's philosophy ideas.Whether it is scope or topic, the quotations of Celestial and Taoism by Su is unmatchable. As was calculated by the author, the quotation is diversified as: 1. metaphor of singers through quotations of fairy maidens. 2. Metaphor of friends through quotations of Celestial and Taoism stories. 3. Describing the seasonal days through quotations of Celestial and Taoism stories.
