Major: Chinese Linguistics Philology Ph.D Candidate: Huang Jinjun Supervisor: Dong zhiqiaoCheng Hao (1032-1085) and Cheng Yi (1033-1107) were famous philosophers in Song Dynasty. Both of them were pioneers of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming Dynasties. The Song Dynasty is an important period in the history of Chinese linguistics Philology. A number of new grammar phenomena exit in the Ercheng Yulu. Through statistic investigation on Ercheng Yulu, we can find a clear strain of the development process of modern Chinese language.Firstly, the dissertation gives a brief description about the life of Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, the content of the Ercheng Yulu, and the research importance. In the following sections, grammar phenomena in Ercheng Yulu are discussed in detail. The person pronouns, interrogative words, auxiliary words, "De ( å¾— ) structural pattern","Ba/Jiang( 把 /å°†) "and "Bei( 被 )structural pattern'' etc., are greatly concerned in this dissertation. The research result shows that in the Song dynasty, many new grammatical factors appeared. The language was greatly developed in that period. A detail description and analysis are given in this paper on the background, the causing factors, the process and the degree of the grammaticalization. At the last pat of this work, the Quotations to the ZuTangJi (ç¥–å ‚é›†) are compared, in order to show the special features in grammar. The research on the Quotations is the first systematically investigation on Song Confucian quotations. It will be a constructive research on the grammar modern Chinese Language. |
