Impact On QOL Of Patients With Advanced Breast Cancer Treated By YiQiJianPi And HuaYuJieDu Method Combined With TE Regimen Chemotherapy

Objective:Randomized controlled clinical trial to observe impact of YiQiJianPi and HuaYu JieDu method based chemotherapy in advanced breast cancer patients quality of life, then to evaluate its basic mechanism of action.Methods:Forty patients were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,20 patients in each group. The treatment group were treated by YiQiJianPi and HuaYuJieDu method based in chemotherapy, and in the control group were TE regimen. EORCT QLQ C-30 V3.0 Chinese version was used to measure quality of life of patients, while response rate, TCM, tumour marks, weight, and toxicity were assessed.Results:The treatment group has the obvious advantages:in improving the clinical symptoms of patients with advanced breast cancer, increasing the weight,improving the quality of life, reducing the digestive system side effects, compared to the chemotherapy alone group, however, in the redueing the value of serum CEA have no significant difference(P<0.05), liver and kidney damages are not clear in 2 groups.Conclusion:YiQiJianPi and HuaYuJieDu method based chemotherapy can significantly improve the quality of life in patients with advanced breast cancer, and it is one of the effective ways to treat advanced breast cancer.
