Efficacy Of Treatment Of Proteinuria In Diabetic Nephropathy By The Use Of Tonifying The Kidney And Relieving Damp-heat And Activating Blood Method Combined With Tripterygium Preparations

Purpose:To investigate the therapeutic mechanism of tonifying the kidney and relieving damp-heat and activating blood method combined with tripterygium preparations in treating macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and nephrotic-range proteinuria, its clinical therapeutic effect,safety, main relived manifestations, the decrease of twenty-four-hour urine protein excretion and serum creatinine as well as the increase of glomerular nitration rate were retrospectively analyzed by adopting tonifying the kidney and relieving damp-heat and activating blood method combined with tripterygium preparations used in tutor's clinical practice for many years.Methods:Select 42 patients who were treated from January.2008 to December.2009,through the therapy of tonifying the Kidney and relieving damp-heat and activating blood method Combined With Tripterygium Preparations by the tutor of Urology Department in Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangsu province. On the basis of summarizing the theory of TCM and the clinical practice, this paper discusses the basic pethogenisis of macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and nephrotic-range proteinuria. Further, this paper takes a retrospective study in the 42 cases treatment of patients with this disease. These patients' clinical symptomatic scores were observed before and after the treatment of TCM. In addition, integral fasting glucose,24-hour urinary protein quantitative, albumin and creatinine are chosen as the major evaluation indexes, while the Blut-Routine-Untersuchung and liver function are the secondary indexes. Finally, Statistical process should be carried out.Conclusion:Under the guidance of syndrome differentiation and treatment, the tutor identified pathogenesis and adopted tonifying the kidney and relieving damp-heat and activating blood method combined with tripterygium preparations in treating macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and nephrotic-range proteinuria, which achieved better clinical effect. Clinical research indicated tonifying the kidney and relieving damp-heat and activating blood method combined with tripterygium preparations could improve clinical manifestations of macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and nephrotic-range proteinuria in TCM, which obviously relieved many symptoms such as turbid urine, lassitude, poor appetite, loose stool, distension and fullness in epigastrium and abdomen, swollen and heavy limbs, heaviness in the head like being wrapped and yellowish tongue coating. It can decrease twenty-four-hour urine protein excretion from patients with macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and increase their hematoleukoprotein. Besides, it can delay aging by decreasing serum creatinine and improving glomerular nitration rate. It has on severe side effect on Blut-Routine-Untersuchung and liver function of patients with macroalbuminuria in diabetic nephropathy and nephrotic-range proteinuria.
