Clinical Investigations On Ning Xin Huan Tong Tang On Treating Blood Stasis Due To Cold Of Primary Dysmenorrhea

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of ning xinhuantong tang on treating primary dysmenorrhea, and provide scientific basis for the clinical application of it. Method: 82 patients with dysmenorrheal of blood Stasis Due to Cold of primary Dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into two groups: 42 patients with ning xinhuantong tang–treated group and 40 patients with shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group. With duration of three months respectively, Dysmenorrhea syndrome score were collected to evaluate the clinical effects and the blood samples were collected to evaluate the effect of E2(Estradiol),p(progesterone) of ning xinhuantong tang– treated group and shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group.Result:(1) The total effective percentage of the treated group which was 95.2 % was greater than that of the control which was 82.5%.the difference of the two group was significant(P<0.05).(2)The change of Dysmenorrhea syndrome score had difference in both ning xinhuantong tang– treated group and shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group (P<0.05). (3) E2(Estradiol)of ning xinhuantong tang– treated group was accompanied by a significant decrease(P<0.05), But the p(progesterone) level of ning xinhuantong tang– treated group obviously increased(P<0.05); E2(Estradiol)of shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group was accompanied by a significant decrease(P<0.05), But the p(progesterone) level of shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group obviously increased(P<0.05);and marked increased in comparison to shao fuzhuyu granule-controlled group(P<0.05).Conclusion: (1) ning xinhuantong tang can alleviate clinical symptoms of dysmenorrheal of blood Stasis Due to Cold of primary Dysmenorrhea. (2) The mechanism of relieving pain with ning xinhuantong tang may have correlation with decrease of E2(Estradiol) and increase of p(progesterone).
