Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jingshuying (JSY)Formula on treating Primary Dysmenorrhea(PD)of congealing cold and blood stasis, and to explore its mechanism of action.Method:Choose 60 patients who belong to PD of congealing cold and blood stasis.Divided them randomly into test group(30 cases, treated with JSY Formula),and control group(30 cases, treated with Shaofuzhuyu Capsule). Both groups started at7 days before the menstrual period and lasted 10 days,a course contained 3 menstrual cycles. Before and after treatment, the therapeutic effects on PD, symptom of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),the change of the uterine blood circulation, and the value of PGF in the menstrual blood would be compared. Results:The cure markedly effective rate of the treatment group is 83.33%,and the total effective rate is 93.33%.While the cure markedly effective rate of the control group is 43.33%,and the total effective rate is 73.33%.The therapeutic effect on PD has difference between 2 groups (P<0.05).The TCM symptom of the test group and control group is significantly different (P<0.05).After the JSY Formula treatment, the uterine artery blood flow and the average flow speed were both increased, the PI,RI,A/B were all decreased(P<0.05),and the PGF level was obviously deceasded (P<0.05) additionally. Conclusion: JSY is an effective recipe in treating PD of congealing cold and blood stasis, which improve the clinical symptom. The effect can be achieved by improving basin antrum blood circle and reducing blood resistance, improving blood viscosity and microcirculation of pelvis cavity, and decreasing the content of PGF in the menstrual blood .They are part of JSY mechanism of action,in addition.
