Abstract Objective: By observing the acupuncture at Neimadian used in anesthesia analgesia after abdominal surgery, further evaluation on the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture analgesia at Neimadian. Methods: Select 120 patients with routine abdominal surgery were randomly divided into the observation group (60 cases) and the control group (60 cases). The observation group were treated with electroacupuncture at Neimadian ,and the control group received sufentanil patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) treatment. After the treatment, comparing the VAS score at all the postoperative time-points,the analgesic effect and safety in two groups ,and measured the levels ofβ- endorphin in patients vein blood by radioimmunoassay. Experimental data analysis applications SPSS17.0 statistical analysis software, takingα= 0.05, the P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results : The two groups of postoperative VAS scores at all time-points after treatment, the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05);and in the good rate after treatment, the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05);and for safety, the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05);and after treatment ,the levels ofβ– endorphin were higher than before in both groups, but the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The analgesic effect and safety of electroacupuncture at Neimadian are superior to the commonly used patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA)after abdominal surgery.2. The method of acupuncture at Neimadian of the postoperative analgesia after abdominal surgery, simple equipment, exact effect, high safety , easy operation, economical and practical, has good application prospect in clinical.
