OjectiveTo observe the electro-acupuncture neimadian of Visual analogue sore of Total Knee arthroplasty(TKA) to evaluate the clinical efficacy of neimadian acupoint to release pain of total knee arrthroplasty and knee ruction recovery.Methods60 cases undergoing TKA patients were collected from the arthroplasty department of Wangjing hospital,they were randomized divided into Test group and control group,n=30, Two groups of patients were on gender, age, disease duration, knee range of motion, postoperative activity and resting VAS score.Surgical patients were completed by a group of doctors, taking knee joint central incision, separating the quadriceps patella tendon inward side and turn patella into lateral side. Two groups of patients were both treated the same model LINK knee prosthesis. Conventional treatment patients were used, including education before the surgery,"cocktail"injection of knee joint,PICA, oral tablets; rehabilitation exercises include guiding patients ankle pump exercises starting on the first day after surgery, exercise quadriceps muscle, active knee flexion movement, passive flexion and extension in patients.The postoperative analgesia are using the same recipe; all started with continued physical cooling methods during after surgery. The test group is given electro-acupuncture neimadian in the non-operative side, the power is decided just right for the patients.First, The 2 group independent samples nonparametric test analyze two groups of gender, age, disease duration, analyze the basic data to prove the two groups were not significantly different.Repeatedly measures two groups of patients for the 1st 2nd 3rd and 7th day after surgury during rehabilitation exercises resting VAS score. And measurement of the ROM degree of 7th day after surgery and side effect during the hopital stay.ResultsThe postoperative VAS score:1st day after activities5.73±3.32vs6.13±3.04; resting3.17 ±1.44vs4.03+±1.56; 2nd day after activity 6.00±3.17vs6.10±3.05; resting3.13±1.50vs3.90 ±1.45 3rd day after activities4.60±1.67vs4.73±1.77; resting 2.06±1.34vs3.16±1.44,7th day after activities 3.53±1.66vs 3.87±1.94 resting 1.93±1.38 vs 2.03±1.34;The resting VAS score of test group is less than control group and P values for each time of data was less than 0.05, the data in each group difference was statistically significant.The postoperative activity VAS score between 2 groups have no significant statistically differentPostoperative range of motion is changing, the seventh day after the two groups were 91.97 ± 13.8 VS 86.53 ± 11.7. Above P value is more than 0.05, the differences between the groups were no statistically relevanceConclusionThe test group resting VAS score is lower than the control group in the first 3 days after surgery,means electro-acupuncture neimadian are able to release resting pain in the first 3 days.but it has no effect on activity pain.
