| Introduction:Because of the loss of water and electrolytes, the imbalance of water-electrolytes metabolism can make the sports ability greatly decreased. Based on the comparative analysis of the concentration of the perspiration electrolytes between different sports, gender, parts and exercise intensity, this essay carries out an analysis on selecting the perspiration electrolytes concentration as the basis of sports drink. It aimed to maintain the water-electrolytes metabolism balance and good functional status for athletes obtaining excellent athletes race provided protection.Methods:25 subjects (Free combat athletes 4 males, 8 females; Long-distance runners 8 males, 5 females) from physical exercise training center in Shanghai University of Sport. Perspiration was collected from homemade sweat-collection bags which attached to the chest and back during exercise. Selected the perspiration concentration of sodium ions, chloride ions, potassium ions and calcium ions as the indices . Based on the electrolytes concentration of perspiration confecting electrolyte sports drinks, provided 800ml/d for the athletes for a month. Did blood tests on the Monday of the 1st, 4th week, total 2 times and gave an analysis on the change of the CNa+, CK+, CCl-, CCa2+ and Hct in serum to monitor the athletes'water-electrolytes metabolism status.Results:The mean electrolytes concentrations of the perspiration during the exercise are sodium ions concentration (56.88±26.36mmol/L), chloride ions concentration (52.03±22.98mmol/L), potassium ions concentration (6.71±3.75mmol/L), calcium ions concentration (0.54±0.27mmol/L). There are not exist significant differences between different testing time and parts. To the differences of gender, the potassium ion concentration is significantly higher in males(P=0.027,P=0.000). To different sports, there exist very significant differences of the perspiration of potassium ion concentration (P=0.017,P=0.000).After the rehydration for one month, there are not exist significant differences between the CNa+, CK+, CCl-, CCa2+ and Hct in serum (P>0.05). The balance of water and electrolytes metabolism are maintained stable in athletes.Discussion:(1) The homemade sweat-collection bags are effective on collecting perspiration during the exercise. It should chose different collecting parts according to different sports.(2) The replacement of the electrolytes sports drinks should base on the concentration of the perspiration electrolytes, in order to ensure the electrolytes concentration of the athletes relatively invariableness during the exercise.(3) The replacement of the electrolytes sports drinks which based on the perspiration electrolytes concentration, overcomes the phenomenon of High serum sodium concentration.(4) During the exercise the salt and water metabolism of the athletes are stable by well- rehydration, maintain the athlete's relative balance of the salt and water metabolism. |
