Investigation And Analysis On Correlational Factors And Constitution Of TCM Of Androgenetic Alopecia

Androgenetic Alopecia(AGA) is a common skin disease in clinic. In recent years,the incidence increases significantly. During clinical diagnosis and treatment, it is found that dietary, psychological factors and life pressure are associated with the incidence of AGA.Objective:Through the investigation on general conditions and correlational factors, we analyse epidemiological characteristics, and explore its relation-ship with constitution of TCM.Methods:The materials which included 76 cases belonging to prevalence group and 72 cases belonging to normal control group are collected by using Questionnaire in Dermatologcial clinic in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, from April 2010 to March 2011. This study uses Classification and Determination of Constitution in TCM, Questionnaire of AGA general conditions and correlational factors, and Qustionnaire of general conditions with normal people. To estimated statistics by SPSS 17.0.Results:73.3% of the prevalence group concentrated in the age group 20 to 30 years old at onset age. In addition, onset age of patients with family history was earlier than patients without family history.94.7% patients had family history in the age group 15 to 30 years old, followed by patients without family history 73.6%. In prevalence group, the onset age of patients with family history appeared different from patients without family history's, and had statistical significance(P< 0.05), To study on the occupasion of AGA patients,31.5% patients were staffs,21.1% patients were students and 21.1% patients were Service works. To analyse Constitution of prevalence group and normal control group, appeared that gentleness type occupied the most part, among which,55.3% in patient group,65.3% in normal control group, pathological type occupied 44.7% and 34.7%. Constitutional classification of two group had no difference,and no statistical significance(P>0.05). To studycorrelat-ional factors of two groups, (incluing age, sex, aerobic exercise conditions, the time of shampoo, dye, alcohol consumption, consumption of fried food, sweets and fat, condition of sleep, quality of sleep, sleep time each day,usual own feeling, satisfaction of life,life-work pressure and mental labor),using multivariate logistic regiession, found that the time of shampoo, consumption fat, life-work pressure, mental labor were risk factors, sleep time each day and satisfaction of life were protective factors. To statistical analyse correlational factors of gentleness type and pathological type in two groups, bying multivariate logistic regiession,showed that male sex was associate with the incidence of AGA, the time of shampoo, consumption fat, life-work pressure and mental labor were risk factors of gentleness type, the time of shampoo and mental labor were risk factors of pathological type, and sleep time each day was protective factor of gentleness type and pathological type.Conclusion:In prevalence group, onset age of patients with family history is earlier than patients without family history, the onset age of patients with family history appears different from patients without family history's. Constitu-tional classification of two group have no difference, and constitution of two groups haven't regularity. The time of shampoo, consumption fat, life-work of pressure, mental labor and so on are associated with the incidence of AGA.
