Investigation And Analysis On Syndrome Differentiation-type And Constitution Of TCM Of Androgenetic Alopecia

Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) is a common skin disease in clinic. In recent years, the incidence increases significantly. During clinical diagnosis and treatment, it is found that the syndrome differentiation-type of TCM of AGA is associated with the constitution of TCM of AGA.Objective:Though the investigation on the syndrome differentiation-type of TCM and constitution of TCM of AGA, we explore its relation-ship with syndrome differentiation-type of TCM and constitution of TCM.Methods:The materials which included62cases are collected by using Questionnaire in Dermatologcial clinic in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, from August2011to March2012. This study uses Classification and Determination of Constitution in TCM, Questionnaire of AGA general conditions. To estimated statistics by SPSS17.0.Results:The Androgenetic Alopecia sufferer observe suffer the sex, ages, ages of onset difference and all did not statistics the meaning (P>0.05). Though the Syndrome type analysis of patients with AGA, show that the spleen-stomach-dampness-heat-syndrome46cases, accounting for74.2%, the liver-kidney-deficiency-syndrome16cases, accounting for25.8%; Distribution analysis on the constitution of TCM type of patients with AGA show that the patients with damp-heat are more than others, accounting for35.5%; The distribution of constitution of two kinds of the syndrome differences had statistics the meaning (P<0.05).Conelusion: Though the investigation on the syndrome differentiation-type of TCM and constitution of TCM of AGA, we find that patients of AGA with spleen-stomach-dampness-heat-syndrome and damp-heat for more than others; The compare with the distribution of constitution show that two kinds of syndrome was different:spleen-stomach-dampness-heat-syndrome patients with the highest proportion of damp-heat, liver-kidney-deficiency-syndrome patients with the highest proportion of gentleness. The results suggest that the damp-heat and the spleen-stomach-dampness-heat-syndrome with an intrinsic correlation.
