ObjectiveTo analyze changing trends and relevant factors of congenital heart disease incidence in Hengyang city during 2002-2010 years and to explore the risk factors of congenital heart disease for reducing the incidence of congenital heart disease and providing theoretical guidance for improving the quality of the population.MethodTo collect the monitoring data of perinatal infant who were born or induced abortion and to be pregnant for 28 weeks or after parturition for 7 days in Hengyang city during 2002-2010 years. Chi-square trend test were used to analyze the incidence trends of congenital heart disease within 9 years; the difference of congenital heart disease between groups of sex, living region, season and maternal age were analyzed by chi square test. Matched case control study of 1:2 was designed for exploring risk factors of congenital heart disease. Then used univariate and Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis on risk factors of congenital heart disease to calculate OR that each factor influenced on congenital heart disease.Result282011 perinatal infant were monitored during 2002-2010 years, as a result, 161 perinatal with congenital heart disease were found. Over the last 9 years, the average incidence of congenital heart disease was 5.71 / million in Hengyang city and had an upward trend (P=0.002) by chi square test. the incidence of male was 6.11/million , female was 5.25 / million, the difference was not significant (P=0.343); the incidence of urban was 7.56 / million, the rural was 4.66 / million, the difference was significant (P=0.002); the incidence of four-season were 8.34/million, 4.27/million, 3.38 / million and 7.17 / million, the difference was significant (P=0.000);the incidence of pregnant women <20 years old, 20 ~, 25~, 30~, and≥35 age group were 8.88 / million, 4.35/ million, 4.04 / million, 8.42 / million and 13.11 / million. The difference was significant between pregnant women age group (P=0.000). The main risk factors for congenital heart disease with maternal gestational age, OR=2.499, 95% CI (1.627-3.839), pregnancy cold OR=8.449, 95% CI (2.690-26.540), maternal risk factors for occupational exposure OR=3.991, 95% CI (1.725-9.234), place of residence there were environmental pollution OR=4.031, 95% CI (1.881-8.640), housing fitment of progestation or duration of pregnancy OR=2.547, 95% CI (1.678-3.867) , 95% CI (2.339-16.414), family history of congenital heart disease genetic OR=10.155, 95% CI (2.689-38.355), abnormal childbearing history OR=8.431, 95% CI (2.396-29.675), psych- dysthymia during pregnancy OR=6.197, smoke during pregnancy OR=5.425, 95% CI (1.981-14.857). Regularly ate fish, shrimp and eggs during pregnancy OR=0.120, 95% CI (0.031-0.455), vegetables and fruits OR=0.287, 95% CI (0.186-0.445), beans or soy products and milk or milk products OR=0.256, 95% CI (0.140-0.466), took folacin during pregnancy OR=0.110, 95% CI (0.026-0.472) for the protective factors of congenital heart disease.Conclusion1. The incidence of congenital heart disease has been increasing during the period of 2002 to 2010 years in Hengyang.2. The incidence of congenital heart disease was higher in urban than rural, winter and spring was higher than in summer and autumn, maternal age <20 years and≥35 years was high incidence of congenital heart disease, 20 years old to 30 years old was a low .3. The risk factors of congenital heart disease were maternal age and had a cold during pregnancy, maternal occupational exposure, and environmental pollution in residence, housing renovation before pregnancy or during pregnancy, hereditary history of CHD, childbearing history of CHD and psych- dysthymia during pregnancy, smoke during pregnancy.4. Ate fish, meat, egg, vegetables, fruits, beans or bean products, milk or milk products and took folic during their pregnancy were protective factors.
