Objectives: To comprehensively dertermine the risk factors and the genetic model of ischemic cerebral stroke and to examine the relationship between cerebral stroke and genetic factor. Methods: According to the diagnostic criteria of ischemic cerebral stroke, we choose 100 pairs in the case-control study. All of the objects were investigated in uniform questionnaires about suspected risk factors and pedigree analysis which included population feature, individual behavior feature, history of past ilhiess, family medical history, blood sugur, blood fat, fibrinogen, ECG, index of carotid artery ultrosound, etc. Using the Falconer method to estimate the hetitability of cerebral stroke. All of the data were processed with non-conditional logistic regression with SPSS 12.0.Results: 1. Individual logistic analysis showed that 10 factors were related to ischemic cerebral stroke (P<0.05), including TC, TG, HDL-C, ECG, blood sugur, family stroke history, history of hypertension and diabetes, smoking, years of alchohol intake, in which HDL was a protective factor. Age, history of heart disease, carotid artery plaque, physical activity, ApoA1, ApoB, FIB, ESR, VLDL were not correlated with ischemic cerebral stroke. Multiple regression analysis showed that TC, HDL-C, TG, history of hypertension and diabetes, ECG and years of alchohol intake were independent risk factors of ischemic cerebral stroke, OR and OR95%CI was 4.06(1.77, 9.33); 0.39(0.19, 0.82); 8.65(3.71,20.21); 4.44(1.85,10.70); 3.46(1.56,7.67); 2.56(1.00,6.56); and 5.85(1.56 ,21.92) respectively.2. The prevalence rate of the first-degree and the second-degree relatives in cases was significantly higher than that in controls. The results showed that...
