| Objective:To observe the influence of joint-moving method to degenerative knee osteoarthritis, and evaluate the advantage of the tuina method. Methods:Divide 60 patients into 2 groups in random, namely tuina-treating group and acupuncture-treating group,30 in each group. The former group were treated by manipulating tuina method, and the later group treated by acupuncture method, 10mins every time, once everyday,10 times every course,2 courses.the parts:EX-LE5,EX-LE2,GB-34,ST-36,SP-10,BL-40,A-shi point. The technique:The flat fell flatCourse:Two groups of treatment for two sessions, each one, ten times for a course of treatment, the interval between two days.Result:(1) The data from baseline of the two groups is comparable (p>0.05); (2) In the analysis before the treatment, the aching index and the evaluation of the knee function is comparable (p> 0.05), especially the function of flexion and extension movement (p>0.05);(3) In the analysis during the treatment:the aching index before and after the treatment, the evaluation of the knee function, and the evaluation of the knee flexion and extension movement in the tuina-treating group is comparable (p<0.05); the aching index before the treatment and the evaluation of the knee function in the acupuncture-treating group is comparable (p<0.05); but the evaluation of flexion and extension movement in the acupuncture-treating group is not comparable (p>0.05);(4) In the analysis of the two groups after the treatment, there is statistic differences in the aching index between the two groups, which suggests that the clinical influence of the tuina-treating group is superior to the acupuncture-treating group (p<0.05), there is no statistic differences in the evaluation of the knee function between the two groups (p>0.05); there is statistic differences in the evaluation of the function of flexion and extension movement, which suggests that the clinical influence of the tuina-treating group is superior to the acupuncture-treating group (p< 0.05),and there is no statistic differences in the evaluation after the treatment between the two groups (p>0.05)Conclusion:The joint-moving method is superior to the acupuncture in improving the flexion and extension movement of the knee of the degenerative knee osteoarthritis. The acupuncture method is superior to the joint-moving method in easing the ache. |
