Objectives:To observe the clinical curative effect between Zhao's Thunder-Fire moxibustion therapy and ordinary moxibustion therapy in treating functional dyspepsia(FD) due to qi deficiency of spleen and stomach with acupuncture.Methods:65 patients of FD due to qi deficiency of spleen and stomach were randomized to two groups:Zhao's Thunder-Fire moxibustion therapy group(33 cases) and ordinary moxibustion therapy group(32 cases). Patients in observing group were treated by Zhao's Thunder-Fire moxibustion therapy with acupuncture, and patients in control group were treated by ordinary moxibustion therapy with acupuncture. Course of treatment was four weeks. Evaluate the curative effect according to the changes of the clinical symptom and Syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine before and after treatment.Results:(1) the baseline conditions (age, course, sex) in both groups were comparable(P>0.05).(2) there was prominent difference (p<0.05) between the two groups on the effect of syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the observing group was superior to the control group.(3) there were prominent differences (p<0.05) between the two groups on improving the clinical symptom and syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the observing group was superior to the control group.(4) one month after the treatment, there were prominent differences (p<0.05) between the two groups on symptom integral and syndrome integral, and the observing group was superior to the control group.Conclusion:both groups had good clinical curative on treating functional dyspepsia (FD) due to qi deficiency of spleen and stomach with acupuncture, and the observing group was superior to the control group. |
