The Study Of Medical Prescriptions Quoted In Classified Materia Medica

Classic Classified Materia Medica for Emergency compiled by Tang Shenwei (hereinafter referred to as Classified Materia Medica) is the most complete extant writings of a herbal medicine, the book retains the previous herbal learning content before Song dynasty, so it has the value of great literature. Tang Shenwei He pioneered the system of Appendix the medical prescriptions which had a profound impact on the compilation of Future generations Herbal Prescriptions. The main research object of this paper is the content of "Classified Materia Medica " under the black cover (that was added by Tang Shenwei), and systematically study the medical prescriptions cited by him. It can clarify the version changes and collation corruption in the literature area. On Chinese medicine, it made physicians understand the similarities and differences in drug efficacy, and service for clinical treatment.The text of this paper is divided into the following three parts:In part one, we textually collected and researched the medical prescriptions across-the-board firstly, reorganized the medical prescriptions quoted by Classified Materia Medica in many ways, attempt to explore the feature and the basis of medical prescriptions quoted by Tang Shenwei. Firstly, we introduced the inheritance relationship of Classified Materia Medica, that is, the relationship between the materia medica works before Song dynasty. Secondly, we researched the source of medical prescriptions quoted by Classified Materia Medica through these two aspects of quoters and medical formulary, our study prove that Tang Shenwei is the pioneer of quoting medical prescriptions systematic. We also made a brief introduction to each medical formulary which was quoted by Tang Shenwei. Then we outlined the relationship between Classified Materia Medica and the later works of the herbal and medical prescriptions, that is, with Benji Zongxiaofang and Compendium of Materia Medica. In the end, we summarized on what basis Tang Shenwei selected these medical prescriptions and the significance of medical prescriptions quoted in Classified Materia Medica. We also sketched the relationship between Classified Materia Medica and Clinical Chinese Material Medica.In the second part we conducted a case study about the prescriptions quoted in Classified Materia Medica. We preliminary explored two medical formularies, Dou Men Fang and Mei Shi Fang which didn't appear in historical records of bibliography, we researched the quotations which were from Classified Materia Medica and other medical formularies, and on the basis of the result we conjectured the publication date and the disappearing time of the two medical formularies. Moreover, we also explored the gynecological and pediatric monograph related to the content of Classified Materia Medica, this will help to gynecological and pediatric diseases studies and facilitate clinical use.In the third part we made a supplementary emendation of Daguan Bencao proofread by Shang Zhijun. Daguan Bencao compiled by Shang Zhijun is the fist punctuation collated text. Mr Shang is the doyen in the Literature of Materia Medica, had made great efforts in this area, and had great influence, but this text exsits a few problems because of limitations of the times. Now we list out the errors and negligences related the medical prescription by category in this text, and further improve this writing of materia medica. In this paper,23 erroneous words was corrected additionally; 7 punctuations was revised; 5 medical prescriptions was omitted relative to Zhenghe Bencao in piece of White Mustard, but there's not notes of collation about it, and this paper was pointed out; 17 pieces of texts which was came from Bencao Yanyi was interfused in Daguan Bencao was listed.
