Clinical Research On Treating Lumbar Disc Herniation By Warming Acupuncture And Moxibustion On Main Points Jiaji

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy,the effect to the visual analogue scale score and the symptoms and signs score of treating lumbar disc herniation(LDH)by warming acupuncture and moxibustion on main points Jiaji.Compare with the conventional acupuncture from the above mentioned aspects to provide an acupuncture and moxibustion method which is easy to operate,excellent efficacy for clinical treatment of LDH.Methods:This study observed 62 cases of LDH,who matched the inclusion criteria.Among them,2 cases had fallen,60 cases were left.The 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 patients in each group.The acupoints,needling methods of the two groups were the same except warming acupuncture and moxibustion on Jiaji in the treatment group.Everyone was treated once a day,had a rest in the seventh day.Seven days make up a course of treatment.there were 2 courses togather.Observed the clinical efficacy after the whole treatment.And compared the visual analog scale scores and the symptoms and signs scores through self-control study and mutual control experiment.Results:1.Efficacy contrast:Both of the treatment group and control group have good efficacy,and there is a significant different between them(P<0.05).There is no significant different between the effective rate of the treatment group and the control group,but the former is significantly better than the latter in the contrast of the rate of the cure rate plus obvious effect rate(P<0.05).2.VAS contrast:it is very significant different through self-control study(P<0.01),mutual control experiment has significant different in whole treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group decrease VAS score more significant(P<0.05).3. The symptoms and signs score contrast:there is very significant different through self-control study(P<0.01), mutual control experiment has significant different in whole treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group decreases VAS score more significant throughout the course(P<0.05).Conclusions:The treatment group and the control group have good effects to LDH.Both of them relieved patients'pain obviously,improved or cured LDH patients' overall symptoms and make signs reduced or lost,but the treatment group is much better than the control group.The results show that warming acupuncture and moxibustion on main points Jiaji is an effective,safe,without adverse reaction and worthy popular therapy.
