The Investigation And Related Research On The Mental Health And Job Burnout Of Community Health Workers

Objective:Survey the mental health and the job burnout condition of the community health workers, investigate the relationship of mental health and job burnout.Methods:Select 764 community health workers of JiangXi province by cluster sampling and then use self-compile general situation questionnaire,SCL-90,MBI-HSS to investigate,data processing and analysis by SPSS 16.0.Results:①There is significant difference between somatization, anxiety, depression, hostility, interpersonal sensitivity of SCL-90 of the community health workers and the national norm, the mental health score is lower than the national norm overall.②Emotional exhaustion of the community health workers is moderate, apathy is mild, personal accomplishment is moderate.③There is significant difference in gender of somatization and anxiety;There is significant difference in age and title of somatization and coercion;There is significant difference in night shifts of months of coercion.④There is significant difference in emotional exhaustion of different work experience, night shifts of month, working hours of day, the amount of housework, degree of family harmony; There is significant difference in night shifts of months of apathy; There is significant difference in personal accomplishment of different title,education, income level,degree of family harmony.⑤There is significant positive correlation among emotional exhaustion, apathy and factors of SCL-90;emotional exhaustion, apathy, education, family support can forecast the mental health;the mental health also can forecast emotional exhaustion and apathy.Conclusion:the mental health and the job burnout condition of the community health workers is negative, there is correlation between the mental health and the job burnout. We shoud pay more attention to it,use active and effective measures to improve their the mental health,reduce job burnout.
