The Clinical Research Of Yiqijieduqushi Treatment In Remedying The Recurrent Genital Herpes

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the yiqijieduqushi treatment in remedying recurrent genital herpes and its effect on the levels of cytokines IL-2, IL-10 of patients.To further explore its mechanism in curing recurrent genital herpes and its effect on regulating immune function of patients. Methods:64 patients with recurrent genital herpes were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group (traditional Chinese medicine group)and the contrast group 1 (acyclovir group), one period of treatment lasts 4 weeks, observe cumulative score of the traditional Chinese medicine symptom of Statistics (subjective symptoms) in the treatment of the first 4 weeks,8 weeks,16 weeks,24 weeks, respectively, Observe their relapse rate statistics after 24 weeks, and observe the level of cytokines IL-2, IL-10 of peripheral blood cells both before and after treatment by double-antibody sandwich ELIS A assay in all patients, and compare with that of 20 healthy adults. Results:Significant differences of the cumulative score (respectively P<0.05, P<0.01, P<0.01) of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome (symptoms)can be observed in both two groups after 8 weeks,16 weeks,24 weeks treatment; with the treatment time increasing, cumulative score of the treatment group of the traditional Chinese medicine symptom of Statistics has been decreasing continuously, while the Chinese medicine symptom of the contrast group only with smaller drop points. The recurrence rate of the Treatment group was 36.1% while in the contrast group recurrence rate was 46.4%, there is no significant statistical difference (p> 0.05)between the two groups. The level of cytokines IL-2 of Pre-treatment patients is lower and the level of cytokine IL-10 is higher compared with that of healthy people, with significant differences (P <0.01), after treatment, the level of cytokines IL-2, IL-10 of patients in the treatment group returned to normal (p> 0.05). Conclusion: Treatment called Qushi Yiqijiedu in curing recurrent genital herpes, can significantly improve patients' symptoms with no obvious side effects, and can effectively regulate immune function.
