The Clinical Reach Of "Chiropractic Manipulation" On Treating Sub-health

Objective:This research is to study the curative effect and the functional mechanism of treating sub-health by "Chiropractic Manipulation" based on the theory of governor vessel and disease-related theory of spinal column and disease after summing up a long practice of general Tuina manipulation on curing sub-health,to further an effective,standard and operational manual for treatment of sub-health. Methods:90 patients diagnosed as sub-health were divided into three groups at random. The treatment group of 30 patients were treated by"Chiropractic Manipulation" while the control groups of 60 patients treated by general Tuina manipulation and acupuncture, each for 30 min. Then all the three groups were evaluated the curative effect according the standard by observing the changes of hemarheology and immunology indicators after 12 times treatments. Results:The clinical cure rate is 93.33% of treatment group while the control groups are 65.51% and 62.06%. The"Chiropractic Manipulation" for treatment of sub-health has a remarkable curative effect compared with the groups of general Tuina manipulation and acupuncture,(P<0.05). The treatment group can significantly lower blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,RBC electrophoresis,RBC aggregation index and the index value of fibrinogen, and can also significantly improve the humoral immune components of IgG, C3,C4.(There is a significant difference not only in the patients of their own but also between the groups, P<0.05).Conclusion:Clinical study shows that the Chiropractic Manipulation has a remarkable curative effect on treating sub-health.The Chiropractic Manipulation therapy can modify hemarheology and improve immunology. This study, based on fact and theoretical basis, provides a standard,scientific, safe,effective,and operational manual for treatment of sub-health.
