Clinical Study On YiQiHuoXueZhiTong Decoction In Treating Middle And Old-Aged Postherpetic Neuralgia And Detection Of IL-2

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of YiQiHuoXueZhiTong (YQHXZT) decoction on middle and old-Aged PHNand effection on IL-2.To investigate the action of IL-2 on the pathogenesis of PHN and its clinical significance. To investigate the possible mechanism of YQHXZT decoction in treating middle and old-Aged PHN. Methods:60 cases of PHN patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, YQHXZT decoction and mecobalamin capsules group of 35 persons,as compared with Cimetidine pill, compound glycyrrhizin capsules and mecobalamin capsules group of 30 persons, two groups of patients given Indomethacin in the first week. Course of treatment is four weeks,Using visual analog scale assessment, observation of two groups of patients with pain and treatment before and after treatment. the level of IL-2 of 20 YQHXZT decoction group were measured and was comparied with 10 normal person's. Results:Cure and obvious effect rate and total effect rate of YQHXZT decoction group are better than the control group,there are notable difference between two groups(P<0.05). After trestment,the level of IL-2 is improved obviously, there are notable difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:YQHXZT decoction has reliable efficacy, and side effect on treatment of middle and old-Aged PHN. It can relieve pain in patients with a greater extent and significantly improved quality of life in patients.
