Clinical Observation Of Xiaoyaosan Combined With Emotional Therapy In The Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia

ObjectiveIn this study,Xiaoyaosan combined with emotional therapy was used to treat postherpetic neuralgia(liver depression and spleen deficiency type).To observe the clinical effects of Xiaoyaosan and Xiaoyaosan combined with emotional therapy on relieving pain in patients with postherpetic neuralgia and improving the accompanying symptoms of sleep disorder,depression and anxiety,in order to provide a more individualized and effective treatment for patients with postherpetic neuralgia.MethodsSixty patients with postherpetic neuralgia(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into western medicine group,traditional Chinese medicine group and traditional Chinese medicine combined with emotional therapy group(referred to as combined group).The Western Medicine Group was given Pregabalin Capsules(Lai Rike),produced by Chongqing Succeway Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,and the national medicine quasi-word H20130073,75 mg,po,Bid.The Chinese medicine group was given Xiaoyaosan,and the prescriptions were Bupleurum,Angelica,Peppermint,Atractylodes,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Radix Glycyrrhizae,etc.The dosage form was traditional Chinese medicine formula granules produced by Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,one dose per day,twice in the morning and evening.Crushed.The joint group was given Xiaoyaosan.The prescriptions were Bupleurum,Angelica,Peppermint,Atractylodes,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Radix Glycyrrhizae,etc.The dosage form was traditional Chinese medicine formula granules produced by Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,one dose per day,twice in the morning and evening.Crushed.In addition to traditional Chinese medicine,doctors also need to carry out relevant emotional therapy interventions on patients(?1 Introduce some knowledge about herpes zoster to eliminate the emotional disorders caused by lack of comprehensive or correct perception.?2 Let the patients perform a partial massage,2 times a day,each time 5~10min.?3 Let the patients according to their actual situation choose the appropriate way to transfer their attention,such as walking,listening to music,playing chess,etc).The treatment sessions of three groups were all 3 weeks.Compare the Visual Analogue Score(VAS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),and Self-Rating Depression scale(SDS)before and after the first and third weeks of treatment.The Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)scores were compared before treatment and after the third week of treatment.ResultsAfter treatment,the total effective rate of the combined group was 84.2%,which was better than 77.8% in the traditional Chinese medicine group and 57.9% in the western medicine group,and the total efficacy difference among the three groups was statistically significant(P=0.019,P<0.05).The scores of the three groups of VAS,SAS,SDS and PSQI were improved compared with those before treatment:in the aspect of VAS,the VAS scores of the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group,the combination group and the western medicine group were different(P=0.001,P<0.05;P=0.018,P<0.05),there was no difference in the VAS scores between the Chinese medicine group and the combined group before and after treatment(P=0.355,P>0.05),in the improvement of pain scores on the Chinese medicine group>combined group>Western medicine group;in SAS On the other hand,the SAS scores of the combination group and the Western medicine group,the combination group and the Chinese medicine group were statistically different(P=0.016,P<0.05;P=0.026,P<0.05).There was no statistical relationship between the western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group.Differences(P=1.000,P>0.05);in terms of SDS,there was no statistical difference between the three groups before and after treatment(P=0.433,P>0.05);in terms of PSQI,combined group and western medicine group,combined group and Chinese medicine group There was a statistically significant difference between the PSQI scores before and after treatment(P=0.019,P<0.05;P=0.005,P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group(P=1.000,P>0.05).ConclusionXiaoyaosan and Xiaoyaosan combined with emotional therapy are effective in treating post-herpetic neuralgia of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency,which can significantly alleviate pain and improve clinical symptoms such as sleep,anxiety and depression.The total effective rate of the combined group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.In terms of improving pain,the Chinese medicine group was superior to the combination group and the western medicine group;while the combined group was better than the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group in improving sleep and anxiety;there was no significant difference in the improvement of depression scores among the three groups.
