Bulbus Lilii is very well-known for its medicine use and its good taste.Bulbus Lilii for medicine use can be found in Guangxi,Zhejiang,Anhui and Hunan.Hunan province,which is one of the four major Bulbus Lilii growing areas,has a long history of Bulbus Lilii planting.Longhui in Hunan province has planted "longya Bulbus Lilii " for more than 1200 years.The "longya Bulbus Lilii " is big and has big petals,tender flesh and its colour is diversified from white to yellow,according to which "dragon tooth " is entitled to the Bulbus Lilii. Lilium lancifolium planted in Longshan,Hunan province has developed vigorously and become one of the local pillar industries.Longshan has also developed series of health care food,which is very promising infuturemarket.With the growing market demand of Bulbus Lilii and the greater attention our nation pay to the Chinese traditional medicine modernization and industry development, Take investigation to the normalised growth of Bulbus Lilii and actualize it, produce "the safe, effective,stable,controllable" high quality Bulbus Lilii appears especially urgent.At present, there is relatively rich documentation accumulation about the chemical elements of Bulbus Lilii. However, there is not enough research about the inner quality standard of Bulbus Lilii.This experiment mainly collects Bulbus Lilii from different areas in Hunan, to conduct HPLC Fingerprint of the extract Saponins of Bulbus Lilii research.This experiment established HPLC Fingerprint of the extract Saponins of Bulbus Lilii for the first time, and determined of the contents of diosigenin of Bulbus Lilii by HPLC for the first time, meanwhile improved the extract craftwork of Saponins in Bulbus Lilii.The experiment result shows:the best condition to extract Saponins from Bulbus Lilii is 70% ethanol,45 minutes of ultrasonic pulse,6% sparse vitriol and 6 hours of hydrolyzation.With researches of HPLC Fingerprint of the extract Saponins of herba Bulbus Lilii from Hunan, There were 14 common peaks in the fingerprints of Bulbus Lilii based on 15 habitats, the similarities of their HPLC fingerprints were above 0.90; There were 18 common peaks in the fingerprints of Lilium lancifolium based on 11 habitats, the similarities of their HPLC fingerprints were above 0.90 besides the 6th sample.Comparison of Relative retention time of the peaks of the extract Saponins of herba Bulbus Lilii from Hunan,There were 14 common characteristic fingerprint peaks based on 26 habitats, the similarities were above 0.90 apart from the 6th Lilium lancifolium sample. With the study of the characteristics of HPLC fingerprint, we can effectively control the inner quality of sample lilies,ensure the quality of sample lilies is relatively stable,as well as effectively identifies two kinds of origin crude drugs.The content survey shows that the content of Diosigenin of Bulbus Lilii is very low,with 0.9～40.5μg Diosigenin in every 1g Bulbus Lilii.
