Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus is the drying bulblet underground ofLiliaceae Family, and its taste is acrid,slightly sweet and bitter, itsneutral in nature is warm.It showed certain strengthening stomach,regulating Qi,antiemetic, analgesia and relieving cough effect definitely.It is recorded in the book of Chinese herbal medicine in Shaanxi for thefirst time,which it is a precious and civiliancommonly used herb medicinein Shaanxi. Modern medicine has shown that it can be used to therapygastritic,Gastric Ulcer and kinds of gastropathy.Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus is rich in phenolic acids, alkaloidsglycosides and flavonoids.The quality standard of Nothlirii Bulbuliferibulbus has not been reported. In order to develop a new use of it, thequalitystandard and fingerprint of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus has beenstudied in this paper.The main contents were divided into two sections as follows:1. The quality standard of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus.This experimentresearch into the quality standard control ofit. And establish the methodsof quality estimate of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus.The routine methods wasused of pharmacognosy such as freehand section and surface slice to observethe microscopic characters of the the medicinal materials of NothliriiBulbuliferi bulbus and thin layer chromatography (TLC) to identify it. Wealso use HPLC to detect the content of p-coumaric acid. The average contentof p-coumaric acid was0.035%.2. The fingerprint of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus.The fingerprint method based on high performance liquid chromatography for the quality control of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus were firstlydescribed and optimized. HPLC system was used to obtain the fingerprintspectrum of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus. The chromatography condition wasHypersil Gold C-18column (250×4.6mm,5μm),mobile phase wasMethanol-0.1%phosphoric acid, and flow speed was0.8mL·min-1,detectionwave length was300nm, column temperature was30℃.16peaks ascertainedas the common peaks of the fingerprint formits unique fingerprint. In thisexperiment, the common fingerprint has been established and the similitudedegree of10batches Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus has also beenobtained(0.900~0.998).The facts mentioned above illuminate that theseexperiments successfully build the quality standard of NothliriiBulbuliferi bulbus and the fingerprint of Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus HPLC.The method is accurate, reliable, good reproducibility, strongcharacteristic and can be used for the standard of genera judgement and thequality estimation about the Nothlirii Bulbuliferi bulbus.
