A Clinical Study On Treating The Functional Dyspepsia With Moxibustion

Background of the studyThe functional dyspepsia(FD) is a kind of common and frequently-occurring disease whose etiopathology is unknown on alimentary system. It has distinguishing features of high morbidity,long course of disease and recurrent attacks ect.It behave as dyspeptic symptoms of recurrent or persistent discomfort of epigastrium, abdominal distension, abdominal distension after a meal, belching, early satiety.anorexia, nausea and vomiting, sour regurgitation ect.Due to unknown etiopathology of FD and different etiopathology of every body, though many drugs can treat FD patient, the result is not good, these offer beneficial space for traditional Chinese medical treatment.Needle therapy is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine, with a view to global idea, which has goodness of good treatment, small side effect, economy and safety, has great prospect in treatment. Moreover moxibustion therapy is which as a part of science of acupuncture and moxibustion, has characteristic of easy operation, short time and painless.So it's easy to be accepted by people。Chinese medicine think that moxibustion therapy has function of warming Yang and expelling cold, dredging the channel, regulating viscera and Qi-blood, strengthening vital qi and dispelling pathogens, especially it is said that whether cold, warm, deficiency or excess, moxibustion therapy can be used.Objective:Through watching and comparing improved conditions of treating the Functional dyspepsia with moxibustion and acupuncture, giving a objective evaluation of a Clinical Study on Treating the Functional dyspepsia with moxibustion.Methods:Take a observation on the FD patients in Acupuncture and digestive clinics in Chinese medicine hospital of Guangdong Province, with randomizing method, we separate 60 patients into two groups:moxibustion group and acupuncture group.Two treatment methods all use two groups of acupoint alternately as follows:①Chungwan Tsusanli Tianshu Weishu;②Zhangmen Guanyuan Sanyin chiao Pishu. Once a day, once a group, except Sunday, six days for a treatment, two treatments for total. The patients of FD Syndrome type of functional dyspepsia completing the clinical observation schedule and appraising the clinical curative effect of the hours before treatment, after treatment. The results will be inputed and analyzed using SPSS13.0.Results:Although comparing curative effect and IPSS, moxibustion therapy and acupuncture therapy is not remarkable meaning (P>0.05).After treatment, there is no markedly significant difference between moxibustion group and acupuncture group in every symptom except that moxibustion group excel acupuncture group in anorexia(P<0.05).Conclusion:Moxibustion therapy and acupuncture therapy also have the same good use of treatment in the functional dyspepsia.
