A Study Of Sub-health And Its Factors On Teachers And Staff In Shanxi Medical University

ObjectiveIn order to know teachers and staff's sub-healthy condition, this paper provides some suggestions for prevention and cure of the sub-healthy condition by mainly researching the relationships between severity index of the sub-healthy condition and social, mental factors and daily habits.MethodsBy delivering 570 questionnaires at random sampling, dividing sub-healthy condition into three degrees (gentleness, moderate and sever), classifying teachers and staff into groups (gender, age, academic degree achieved and position), this paper differentiates the various factors which influence the sub-healthy condition.In the study, the questionnaires is collected and sorted out firstly, and then input the collected data which are analyzed by using of SPSS13.0 software. In single factor analysis, variance analysis is adopted in comparing more than two groups of measurement data, while categorical data are analyzed in the method ofχ2 Assay; in multi-factors analysis, multivariate unconditional Logistic regression analysis.ResultsAs the risk factions,the higher of score in work-like factions(F=34.75,P=0.001) family-like factors (F=5.79,P=0.001) and lifestyle-like factors (F=7.12,P=0.001) in social level,the higher in seveity of subhealth;the lower of score in self-affirmation (F=57.94,P=0.001),higher in depression (F=22.64,P=0.001) and antianxiety (F=56.23,P=0.001) in individual level,the higher in severity of the subhealth state.As the protect factors,in the social support, the higher of score in the whole score(F=3.32,P=0019),the lower in the sevity of subhealth;in the coping methods,the higher in positive coping (F=10.58,P=0.001) and lower in negative(F=9.18,P=0.001),the lower in the sevity of subhealth.Conclusion: Staff members and teachers in sub-healthy condition account for 55.47% of the total. Female staff and teachers are severe than male, and staff aged from 30 to 39 are in the most serious condition. From the perspective of degrees, staff members and teachers with bachelor's degree are among the worst condition and teachers suffer sub-healthy condition the most.The risk factors includes work-like factor,family-like factor in social level;and includes self deny,anxious,depression and negative attitude in individual level.The protect factor includes social support factor and motive attitude.
