As social economy rapidly developed and social competition was more violent, people paid more attention to the health of occupational population. Study found that living conditions for people, in addition to "disease" and "health" status, but also the existence of another state which named subhealth. People in this state have many self-inductance of discomfort, fatigue, but ruled out by clinical diagnosis and disease state. The current risk fators about subhealth were:psychological pressure, work long hours, poor lifestyle and lack of emotional communication. In former study, the detection rates had remarkable difference. In hence, it is necessary to develop a large scale survey about subhealth prevalence state and relevant influence factors.[Objects] To learn the subhealth prevalence and the lifestyle status among civil servants and technicians; To explore the relationship between the prevalence rate of subhealth and the lifestyle; To provide the basis for formulating intervension strategies.[Methods] Questionnaires survey was conducted among civil servants and technicians aged 18 to 60 years in Beijing selected by multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method. Database was established by epidata 3.1 software. Data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 statistics software.[Results] There were 1567 questionnaires distributed in total. There were 1555 valid questionnaires returned. Civil servants accounted for 71.7 percent, technicians accounted for 28.3 percent. Male and female accounted for 51.4 percent and 48.4 percent respectively.The average age was 39.52±9.89 years.Among 1555 respondents there were 281 people suffering from disease,1179 healthy people and 95 subhealthy people. Detection rate of subhealth was 6.1% in two populations.In civil servants and technicians populations, there were different population distribution characteristics. With regard to marital status, population of separating marriage had the highest prevalence rate of subhealth. The prevalence rate of subhealth in the population with college education levels was higher than other populations. As to household income per month, those whose household income per month below 2000 yuan had the highest prevalence rate than those whose household income per month were above 2000 yuan. These differences had statistic significance (all p<0.01). But the prevalence rate of subhealth between two kinds of vacations had no difference (P>0.05)The smoking and drinking frequency in civil servants were higher than that of technicians. And the situation about having breakfast and three meals per day in civil servants were also higher than that in technicians. The technology staff had longer working and sitting time than civil servants. Regarding the satisfaction degree of life and work, the civil servants were higer than technicians (all p<0.01).Influence factors anlysis were conducted among civil servants and technicians respectively.The risk factor of subhealth in civil servants was work intensity. The protection fators in civil servants were income, quality of sleep, satisfaction degree of life, satisfaction degree of work. In the technicians,the risk fator was sitting time and the protection fators were quality of sleep, satisfaction degree of life.[Conclusion] The prevalence rate of subhealth in Beijing was 6.1%. There was no different between two kinds of vocations. The smoking and drinking frequency in civil servants were higher than that of technicians. And the technology staff had longer working and sitting time than civil servants. The survey screened the influence factors of subhealth. The civil servants and technicians had the common influence factors and they had respective influence factors.The target-oriented measurements should be taken in different vocations.
