Objective:To research the physical health status of medical staff. Through scientific compare to identify the risk factors witch affect the health conditions. Look for a good way to improve the health status of medical staff and to provide a scientific support for management of governments. Methods:A longitudinal investigation and retrospective study are used to analysis the medical examination results of 935-1104 medical staff in 2004-2008. The examination result items include: Hyperglyceridemia, Abnormal hepatic functions, Gynecological diseases, Fatty degeneration of the liver, Abnormal ECG, The gall bladder diseases, Hypertension, Hyperglucose, Breast diseases, Hypercholesterolemia and The other diseases. It is stared in order based on the highest checked rate of diseases/symptoms before 11 numbers in 2004. The ages, gender, work departments, occupations, and workload, life habits of medical staff are also investigated. Data were input to create a database with EpiData 3.02 and analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software package. The positive results are longitudinal and horizontal compared to different years, ages, gender, work departments and occupations, for analysis the distributing feature, dynamic trend and the association with study participant.Result:(1) The study showed the total rates of diseases/symptoms Checked for 5years are:49.8%(2548/5113), the mean rates of diseases/symptoms Checked for 5years in order as follow: Hyperglyceridemia23.7%(1214/5113), Fatty degeneration of the liver 12.7%(649/5113), Gynecological diseases 11.96%(434/3628), Hypercholesterolemia 10.1% (517/5113), The other diseases.9.3% (475/5113) Abnormal hepatic functions 8.6%(441/5113), The gall bladder diseases,6.9% (354/5113), Abnormal ECG 6.2%(318/5113), Hyperglucose 4.4%(227/5113), Breast diseases 2.5%(92/3628) and Hypertention,2.4%(123/5113).The dynamic changes of rates of diseases/symptoms Checked for 5years are difference, because of the different-checked items. Total changes showed as a curve line.(2). The total rates of diseases/symptoms checked for each year are:51.6% (493/955) in 2004,71.4%(668/935) in 2005,57.6%(620/1077) in 2006, 36.3% (378/1042) in 2007,35.2%(389/1104) in 2008; The higher rates of diseases/symptoms checked before number 3 as line up for 5years are: Hyperglyceridemia14.2%(136/955), Abnormal hepatic functions14.1%(135/955), Gynecological deseases13.1%(90/595), Fatty degeneration of the liver12.4% (118/955) in 2004; Hyperglyceridemia40.7%(381/935),Gynecological deseases32.0%(214/668) and Abnormal hepatic functions23.4%(219/935) in 2005; Hyperglyceridemia 31.3%(337/1077), Fatty degeneration of the liver 16.5% (178/1077), Hypercholesterolemia 14.7%(158/1077) in 2006; Hyperglyceridemia 17.4% (181/1042), Fatty degeneration of the liverll.7%(122/1042), Hypercholesterolemia 9.7% (101/1042) in 2007; Hyperglyceridemia16.2% (179/1104), Fatty degeneration of the liver9.8%(108/1104), Hypercholesterolemia 9.6%(106/1104) in 2008. There are four of eleven items rates increased to the highest from2005to2006. The highest rates of diseases/symptoms Checked are Hyperglyceridemia 40.7%(381/935), Gynecological diseases 32% (214/668), Abnormal hepatic functions,23.4%(219/935)Fatty degeneration of the liver 16.5%(178/1077). The Hyperglyceridemia is in number 1 continuing to 5years.(3). Different ages, gender, occupations and departments have been compared each other in the study. The results as follow:(3.1) There are significant different from different ages (three groups: 20~44,45-60 and 60-90 years old) about Hyperglyceridemia, Fatty degeneration of the liver, Abnormal ECG, The gall bladder diseases, The other diseases, Hypertension, Hyperglucose, Hypercholesterolemia in 5years. (P<0.05), more older the diseases/symptoms Checked rates more higher.(3.2) There are significant different from male and female about the diseases/symptoms Checked rates of Hyperglyceridemia and Fatty degeneration of the liver in 5years. (P<0.05), male's rates is higher than female's.(3.3) There are significant different from different occupations about the diseases/symptoms Checked rates, such as Hyperglyceridemia, Fatty degeneration of the liver, The gall bladder diseases, Abnormal ECG, and The other diseases. Details compare showed nurses is lower than doctors and other occupations about Hyperglyceridemia and Fatty degeneration of the liver in four years. (P<0.05)(3.4) Different departments, such as no-operation departments, operation departments, affiliated departments (X-ray room, laboratory room; Etc.), and the other support and manage departments, There are apart of significant different of Gynecological diseases, Fatty degeneration of the liver, Hyperglucose. (P<0.05)。Conclusion:The study showed the medical staff's health status is not so good. The total average rates of diseases/symptoms are 49.98%, the highest rates reach to 71.4%。The rates Checked of medical staff are higher than common people for Hyperglyceridemia, Hypercholesterolemia, Abnormal hepatic functions, and Gynecological diseases. The rates of diseases/symptoms Checked for Hyperglyceridemia, Fatty degeneration of the liver, Hypercholesterolemia, The other diseases., The gall bladder diseases,, Abnormal ECG, Hyperglucose and Hypertension has a close association with medical staff's ages, gender, occupations, department, and workload, but, different departments are less difference than others. Abnormal hepatic functions, Gynecological diseases and Breast diseases maybe do not have a close association with it.
