The Traditional Chinese Medicine Literature Study Of Gout Arthritis

Objective:By collecting the literatures of Gouty Arthritis TMC treatment, this text is aimed to exploring the syndrome differentiation, therapies and medication rules. To expore and combine the basic prescriprion of each TMC syndrome of Gouty Arthritis treatment, we analyzed and arranged the high-frequency drugs of gouty Aethritis TCM treatment, as well as analyzed the TCM treatment mechanism and modern pharmacology.Method:Choice:The reference about TCM clinical study on Gouty Arthritis TCM treament from the Biomedical Journals published from June 1999 to June 2009. To summarize the syndrome differentiation, therapies and medication from the standard conformance references, we analyzed the statistics with the software EXCEL 2003. In this way, we combine the basic prescription of the main syndromes of Gouty Arthritis from the analysis and arrangement of the high-frequency drug.Result:The commom TCM syndroms includes 73.73%syndrome of humid-heat retention,11.28% syndrome of damp abundance due to splenic asthenia,5.39% phlegm-accumulation stasis,3.79% stagnancy of heat accumulation,3.24% syndrome of cold-dampness with turbid bane and 2.92% other syndromes. The relative common therapies are heat-clearing damp-drying therapy, invigorate the spleen and eliminating the dampness treatment, dissipating phlegm and removing stasis, removing blood stasis and clearing away heat-evil, the method of warming for resolving cold-dampness, and other method of treaments. Among the used medicine, there is 34.15% heat-clearing drugs which is included 41.85% antipyretic-detoxicate drugs,25.41% antipyretic dryingdampness agnets, 24.40% heat-clearing to cool blood drugs and 8.34% drugs of eliminating heat and purging fire. Besides, there is 18.25% diuretics for eliminating dampness, which contains 13.46% dissipating blood stasis drugs, and 9.7% reinforcing drugs as well as 9.32% wind-damp dispelling drugs. The tonic of diuretics for eliminating dampness contain 49.22% inducing diuresis to alleviate edema drugs, 41.49% inducing diuresis for treating strangurtia drugs and 9.29% drugs of disinhibiting dampness and relieving jaundice. The mainly-uesd medicine are as follows:1) syndrome of humid-heat retention: usually uses cortex phellodendri, Semen Coicis, Radix achyranthis bidentatae, Atractylodes lancea, Red Peony Root, Honeysuckle, Rhizoma smilacis glabrae, forsyt safflower hia suspense, rhizoma dioscoreae septemlobae, Semem Plantaginis, Radix scrophulariae, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis.2) syndrome of damp abundance due to splenic asthenia:usually uses rhizoma dioscoreae septemlobae, Semen Coicis, Rhizoma smilacis glabrae, cortex phellodendri, Poria, Atractylodes, Atractylodes lancea, Radix achyranthis bidentatae, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Rhizoma alismatis, Astragalus and Semem Plantaginis; 3) phlegm-accumulation stasis:usually uses Radix achyranthis bidentatae, angelica, Gentiana straminea maxim, safflower, cortex phellodendri, rhizoma smilacis glabrae, Semen Coicis, Rhizoma alismatis, rhizoma dioscoreae septemlobae, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Atractylodes lancea, Glycyrrhiza uralensis; 4) stagnancy of heat accumulation:usually uses safflower, Radix achyranthis bidentatae, peach kernel, myrrh, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Rhizoma smilacis glabrae, Pheretima, Red Peony Root, angelica, moutan, Rehmannia root, Caulis Lonicerae; 5) syndrome of cold-dampness with turbid bane:usually uses angelica, Radix Aconiti preparata, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, White Peony Root, Astragalus, cassia twig, Rhizoma smilacis glabrae, Angelica pubescens, Atractylodes lancea, Herba Asari, Radix Saposhnikoviae, Herba Ephedrae. The mainly meridian distributions of drugs that curing Gout arthritis are:the kidney, lung, stomach, liver, spleen, the mainly tastes of the drugs are:sweet, bitter and light, the mainly drug property are frigidity and planus.
