Proplase disc is the main cause of the back pain or sciatica。It is because the prolased disc will cause some pressure on the vertebrate, nerve and the nearby tissue, which may affect the never sensation and the blood circulation and cause the localized poor circulation of the lower limb。The syndromes will be edem, painful, numbness or coolness。There is no common name for the proplase disc in Chinese Tradition Medicine。While Chinese medicine is very concern the whole body concept and every people have different body characteristics, so their syndromes will be different。Traditionally, we know the syndromes of proplase disc are back pain, sciatica, numbness and Sputum diseasephlegm。According to" Ne-Jin", the back pain or sciatica will be named by the affected site。Aim:For the proplase disc patients, the fire acupuncture with normal acupuncture therapy and Acupuncture were applied to them, with comparing the result of the effectiveness and the side effect, we know that the effectiveness of fire acupuncture with normal acupuncture therapy and its medical value, we are aim to find a simple and effective therapy in order to reduce the inconvenience of the patients in daily life。At the same time, we are providing the theory for fire acupuncture with normal acupuncture therapy。Method: According the requirement of the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine First Affiliated Hospital of Acupuncture clinic, there are two groups of patients which separated randomly. Including 30 people in the therapeutic group (fire acupuncture with normal acupuncture therapy) and 30 people in the experimental group (only acupuncture therapy)。The therapeutic group will have the fire acupuncture with normal acupuncture therapy, the main acupoint for acupuncture therapy are Shenshu, colon Yu, Venezuela, Cheng-Shan, hanging bell. After 30 minutes, remove the needle as usual and give 5 minutes break to patient。When 5 minutes passed, do the fire acupuncture therapy to the patient。Choosing the acupoints by symptoms: cold-damp lumbago with Yaoyangguan, YinLingQuan, do it to both sides; hygropyretic lumbago with Sanyinjiao, Yanglingquan, do it to both sides; blood stasis lumbago withXuehai, Geshu; Kidney back pain with Mingmen, Taixi, do it to both sides; if the patient has gluteal pain, the therapy will add Huantiao, Chengfu; thigh pain will add Fengshi, YinMun;ankle pain will add Kunlun, Taixi.Fire acupuncture therapy's main acupoint are Jiaji, colonYu, ranksideCiliao, Venezuela, ChengShan, separate into 2 groups and take turn for both groups。Operation methods:disinfect asusual and use a long 0.8mm hot needle to do pricking method therapy。Patient lie down and face down, the performer hold the needle and fire it on the firing burner until the needle becomes red, then quickly and accurately use pricking method to prick the chosen acupoint。Needle pricks in and quick out, it won't stay, and the use silk top with alcohol to press the point to reduce patient's painful. The therapy will be two days per time, and two weeks as a course, totally four weeks. The comparing group will have the same therapeutic procedure except the Fire acupuncture, the result of the therapy will be observed for the effectiveness, also the pre and post of the therapy will be observed and analyzed with the spss anylsising software. And those results will be compared with the inter and intra group. The intra group comparing will be using the paring and investigation, and the inter group comparing will be using the Ridit for analyzing.Results:According to the Issued by the State Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine "Traditional Chinese Medicine Imaging and Therapy", the Patients 60 cases, 30 cases in which the treatment group recovered in 14 cases (46.7.%), Were Effect in 12 cases (40.0%), effective in 4 cases (13.3%),0 ineffective, the total effective rate was 86.7%, while the general. The total effective rate ofacupuncture group and 43.3%; two groups was significant difference (P<0.05), the two groups after treatment. Comparison of the indicators were significant differences (P<0.05). Two groups of "symptom score after treatment," are better than "rule Symptom score before the treatment the "good (P<0.05). In the treatment group" before and after treatment symptom scores "worse than the controlgroup(P<0.05). both group have a very good results on controlling the side effects or the dependence by the patient。Conclusion:Fire acupuncture have a very good effect on the anti inflammation, also increase the probability on curing the proplase disc. No matter which kind of proplase disc, Fire acupuncture also provide a very good therapeutic effect. Moreover, it provides a very good control on the side effect and the patient dependence. this research also show that Fire acupuncture is available to use on different kind of people who are suffering proplase disc。All in all。Fire acupuncture is the best way to cure the proplase disc. It's not only having the high therapeutic effect. Also, its action was fast and the side effect was low. Moreover, it wont develop a resistance and it is a simple and cheap therapeutic way。So it has a very high therapeutic value...
