Clinical Analysis About 153 Medical Cases Of Chronic Pancreatitis

Objective: To analyze the clinical feature and the diagnosis and treatment of CP. To discuss the different causes of CP.Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed for 153 cases of CP patients, who received treatment from 2004.1 to 2008.11 in Xiangya Hospital,Central South University.Results: the major clinical features invludes Upper abdominal pain, weight lose, abdominal distension and dyspepsia. The feature of imageology invludes pancreas lump, pseudocyst, pancreatic duct broaden, pancreatic duct stone. Surgical therapy was undertaken on 57 cases of CP.Conclusions: The major causes of CP in our Hospital are biliary system diseases, chronic alcoholism, hyperlipoidemia. The examination of imageology is very important to diagnosis CP. The pathohistology is the gold standard for diagnosis of CP. The specific treatment of CP was not found yet. Expectant treatment was main method to CP. The operation style must be individualization.
