Clinical Observation Of The Effect Of Shenfu Acupoint Injection In Treating Mesangial Proliferative Glomerulonephritis

ObjectiveTo observe the near effect of Shenfu acupoint injection on proteinuria,hematuria,plasma D-dimer,fibrinogen,renal function in patients of mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis (MsPGN).So as to study the therapeutic action and possible mechanisms of Shenfu acupoint injection in the treatment of MsPGN.Method67 cases of patients with MsPGN diagnosed by renal biopsy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.In treatment group there were 33 cases.In control group there were 34 cases.The patients of both groups were treated with traditional Chinese medicine,Persantine,Vitamin E.Shenfu acupoint injection was added to the treatment group. All patients were treated for 30 days.Before and after treatment,symptoms of patients,24h urine protein,urine a₁-microglobulin,urine micro-albumin,urine IgG,serum total protein, albumin,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),endogenous creatinine clearance rate(Ccr),serum creatinine(Scr),plasma D-dimer,fibrinogen were measured.Results1.After treatment,the main symptoms of patients,24h urine protein,urine micro-albumin,urine IgG,BUN,plasma D-dimer,fibrinogen were significantly decreased in both groups(p＜0.05).The amplitude of decrease in treatment group were significantly greater than that of control group(p＜0.05).2.Urine blood cell number,a₁-microglobulin were decreased in both groups(p＜0.05), but not different between the two groups(p＞0.05).3.Ccr,Scr were not increased in both group(p＞0.05),and not different between the two groups(p＞0.05).Conclusion1.After treatment,the main symptoms of patients with MsPGN become better.2.Shenfu acupoint injection can effectively reduce 24h urine protein in patients with MsPGN.Further studies show that the main effect of Shenfu acupoint injection is to reduce patient's glomerulous urine protein(albumin,IgG),but not reduce tubulous urine protein (a₁-M).3.Acupoint injection can improve renal function by effectively reducing serum BUN, not increased the level of Ccr and Scr.Acupoint injection can improve the hypercoagulable condition of MsPGN by reducing plasm levels of serum BUN.4.Shenfu acupoint injection can effectively reduce plasma levels of D-dimer and fibrinogen in patients with MsPGN.In a word,Shenfu acupoint injection is a better method for the clinical treatment of MsPGN.
