The Research On The Curative Effect Of Mckenzie Therapy And The Evaluation Of Lumbar Bending Function In The Patients With Protrusion Of Intervertebral Disc

Objective:To investigate the curative effect of McKenzie in the PID patients;to investigate the sensitivity of the FTF,Modified schober,IDEEA;to investigate the correlation of the 3 methods of evaluation of the bending function.to investigate the reliability of the IDEEA in the evaluation of the bending function of PID patients.MethodsThirty Patients(n=30,male 17,female 13) with PID who had been diagnosed by CT/MRI,Tested by McKenzie mechanic diagnosis and tentative therapy.They could feel the relief of the pain by the extending movement.Thirty patients research(n=30, male17,female13)Age40—64(42.8±13.3).And thirty patients controls(n=30,male19, female11) who have also suffered PID participated the study.Age38—61(42.9±14.1). Before and after the therapy,We use FFT,modified Schober,IDEEA to evaluate the lumbar bending function.and to study the correlation the evaluation above.We also evaluate the reliability of the IDEEA according to the ICCResultsLumbar bending function includes time flexion forward TFF,max forward angle, MFA,MF A/TFF。During the gait cycle,in the supporting phase.SST,DST,ground recoil,velocity is also used as index.The result shows that the patients who fits the mechanical diagnosis will receive the better result(P＜0.01 ).Dynamic evaluation index above is sensitive.According to the FFT and modified Schober result,Mckenzie combining with conventional therapy is better than conventional therapy only.The bending function index such as MFA MFA/TFF MFA/TTF,which is recorded by the IDEEA.The index High correlations exits in all the parameters of IDEEA between the two assessments(ICC=0.914-0.997).95%confidence interval is close.FFT have some correlation with MFA which is measured by IDEEA.The result which is measured by the IDEEA provide further correlation evidence.ConclusionMckenzie therapy is simple,easy and effective way for PID.Dynamic quantitate evaluation index such asMax Forward Angle°MFA,Time Flexion Forward,s TFF,Time Forward/Back s TFB,MFA/TFF°/ s,MFA/TFB°/ s.The index such as SST,DST,ground recoil,velocity is sensivity.FTF has better correlation with MFA which is measured by IDEEA.IDEEA has better reliability.in the evaluation of the bending function of the PID patients.
